All members wishing to attend the Celebration need to deposit Rs 5000 as Contribution it is inclusive of Family for Cultural Program and Dinner.

2. Voluntary Contribution :
It can be deposited by Both type of members i.e. Participating and Non Participating members.
It has No Limit any amount can be deposited...
It is especially requested to non participating alumni (may be any reason), that they must try to contribute for it...After all it is their Celebration too..It's a celebration of their College which has sharpen them to exist in present status..

Essence of Todays Discussion 5 Nov 2017

Group is very interesting and very keen to Celebrate GJ with full enthusiasm….

Day was mixed with sharing experience and interesting moments of college life.

Only one slogan came on post "Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram" which was popular in 1992.

It was used by students whenever they used to go out together or drink or dance. All students sung this line along.

One more slogan from my batch, few posts today discussed it. I am giving details..i.e. Hari Ikshha, Actually this word was frequently used by our Prof VC Singh. He used to answer every question with a sentence ending with Hari Iksha… Later my class mate RK Singh adopted it.  One day suddenly 10-12  students of my class came with clean head (Mundan) . We asked them what happened answer was 'HARI IKSHHA' … As they were not having any proper reason for it. they did it just as a Junun without any proper reason so they answer  that it was HARI IKSHHA. Later this word became more popular. We had a panel in election as Hari Ikshha Panel…it was used whenever situations get out of control, when some thing happens unexpected/suddenly/beyond expectation..or one makes mischief with sense of humor…etc etc..

Some experiences were shared. Memory of Bhagwana Restaurent (Now Kanhainya) on Tigadda were shared. Experience regarding Water Tank was intrestingly shared.

Pics of Water Tank and pics of Hostel refreshed the memory of college times. Pic will be posted on blog in photo gallery.

This is not possible in current scenario But still exists in CAE.

Video of Shailendra  Shukla(82) is very inspiring, will be accomodated in celebration.

Tomorrow task is to collect name of Achievers Alumni like Shailendra Shukla…Man with Big Basket and so on…Churn your memory and find these diamonds of CAE..Send their Names and Batch along with a little details of work.. you just give a brief of his work. We will contact him and collect details. Such Diamonds will be recognized in celebration.

So tomorrow's task find the "DIAMONDS OF CAE"

I am going to give an interesting task.... Each batch  uses some slogan/nara/abbreviation/interesting words   or  small phrases for some interesting meaning....like Jhadi Patta, Chiki chiki.. Hari Iksha, Hip Hip Hurre..etc..etc... we want to publish  in the souvenir...
Please send all such  phrases with their meaning i.e. the situation in which the  phrase was used and the year in which  the phrase was popular.  I hope it will create an interesting page in the souvenir...

Word  JHADI PATTA reminds several words in different batches which were used for intersting meaning in the then time….like CHIKI CHIKI BUM BUM, HARI IKSHA   etc in our batch,. We will collect them and publish in souvenir. I hope if we collect for last 45 years we must be having a good collection.
